Alloy Alert - Pennsylvania/Philadelphia Tax Amnesty Program 2010

From April 26 to June 18, 2010, Pennsylvania is holding a tax amnesty program for individuals and businesses who owe back taxes. During this limited, 54-day timeframe, the Pennsylvania Department of Revenue will waive 100% of penalties and half of the interest for taxpayers who pay their delinquent state taxes.
Likewise, the City of Philadelphia is also providing a limited-time opportunity for taxpayers to pay their debts. Philadelphia Tax Amnesty begins May 3 and expires June 25, 2010. Those who come forward and pay their back taxes will be relieved of all of the penalties and half of the interest assessed to date. The last time Philadelphia offered an amnesty program similar to this was in 1986 so you don't want to miss this opportunity.
