Alloy, Silverstein, Shapiro, Adams, Mulford, Cicalese, Wilson & Co., Cherry Hill, NJ, the 20th largest accounting firm with offices in New Jersey, is pleased to announce the 2005 recipients of the Alloy, Silverstein, Shapiro, Adams, Mulford, Cicalese, Wilson & Co./Sallie Mae annual scholarships at Rutgers University School of Business-Camden.

            The recipients are:

Viktoriya Prigojina, a senior accounting and finance major from Marlton, NJ

Mark Thomas, a senior accounting major from Wenonah, NJ

David Ustunkaya, a senior accounting major from Maple Shade, NJ

Alloy Silverstein funds annual scholarships which are available to full-time juniors and seniors based on academic merit and financial need.  These scholarships continue the long-standing relationship between the university and the firm, which employs many Rutgers graduates and undergraduate interns on its professional staff.

Reynold P. Cicalese, CPA, PFS, managing partner at Alloy Silverstein, graduated from Rutgers-Camden in 1978.

A prominent center for economic development, scholarly research, and business education, the Rutgers University School of Business at Camden enrolls 535 upper-division undergraduate and 273 master of business administration (MBA) students attending classes on campus and in Altantic City, Mt. Laurel, and Voorhees.  Established in 1988, the school has 37 full-time faculty whose research innovations are respected internationally.  Rutgers-Camden is the first business school in southern New Jersey to earn international accreditation.

“We hire many of our Rutgers interns as full-time employees upon graduation," says Cicalese.  "This results in a win-win situation for both our interns and our firm.  The interns receive invaluable on-the-job training while they are pursuing their accounting degrees which typically results in a smooth transition to permanent hires for Alloy.  Our Rutgers interns are the future of our firm."

For more information regarding the scholarships, contact Samantha Collier, Director of External Affairs at Rutgers University School of Business–Camden at 856.225.6710.
