A native of Merchantville, New Jersey, Mr. Mulford is a graduate of Rutgers University with a BA in accounting (06172). Originally certified as a CPA in New Hampshire (02/75), he is currently licensed in New Jersey (12178) and Pennsylvania (07177). He is a member of the American lnstitute of CPAs, New Jersey Society of CPAs, and Pennsylvania lnstitute of CPAs. Mr. Mulford earned the AICPA's certificates of educational achievement in Business Valuation and in Advanced Business Valuation, and has been awarded the Accredited Business Valuation (ABV) designation by the AICPA. He also met the requirements to earn the Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF) credential, which include demonstrating significant business experience in the area of financial forensics as well as completing a minimum of 75 hours of life-long learning and education activities in the area of financial forensics. He is in full compliance with the State of New Jersey Board of Accountancy, the Pennsylvania State Board, and the AICPA's continuing professional education requirements of 40 hours per year. He is also licensed as a General Securities Representative - FlNRA Series 7 and has passed the Uniform Combined State Law through 1st Global Capital Corp. Member FINRA/SIPC. Mr. Mulford has a N.J. Life & Health license. Mr. Mulford is a shareholder in the accounting firm of Alloy, Silverstein, Shapiro, Adams, Mulford, Cicalese, Wilson & Co., the financial services firm of Alloy Silverstein Financial Services, and the payroll service Abacus Payroll, Inc.

Drawing on over 38 years experience with a diverse clientele and an emphasis on closely held businesses and professional practices, Mr. Mulford provides a broad range of accounting and tax services to the firm's clients. Mr. Mulford serves as director of the firm's forensic accounting services including business valuation and litigation support. Mr. Mulford's involvement in forensic accounting services began in 1978, and has steadily increased in proportion to his overall workload. It represents the single largest portion of his current work efforts. On behalf of clients, he has testified in court in Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Cape May, Gloucester, Cumberland, Salem, Montgomery, Delaware and Philadelphia Counties and has been recommended by the courts as a joint expert and has been appointed by the court as its expert in various litigation matters. He is also chairman of the firm's Accounting Standards Quality Review Committee. He has been consulted by the Philadelphia Inquirer as a matrimonial forensic accountant.

Mr. Mulford has participated in lectures and seminars for the Rutgers family business program, the N.J. Society of CPAs, the New Jersey lnstitute for Continuing Legal Education, the N.J. Chapter of the American Trial Lawyers Association, various bar association meetings and seminars, local law firms and a variety of business organizations. Topics included understanding business tax returns, how to analyze balance sheets and income statements, a mock trial on business valuation, forensic accounting, hidden assets, Orgler vs. Orgler and business valuation, Hot Tax Tips in matrimonial litigation, what to look for in a forensic accountant, divorce taxation, and financial and income tax issues in Family Law in N.J.

Mr. Mulford is a resident of Cherry Hill. He is a member of the Board of Trustees of his community homeowners association. In the past, he has served on the Township Ethics Board and the board of the Cherry Hill Soccer Club, served as Treasurer of the Greenbriar Heart Day campaign, contributed his time as a Boy Scout leader and coached boys soccer, lent his financial expertise to the Parent-Teachers Association, and participated in the neighborhood Crime Watch Program. He is an active supporter of the local chapter of the American Heart Association. He is an experienced sail and power boater and a novice at duck hunting and fishing.
