LOCAL CPA NAMED A 40-YEAR HONORARY MEMBER OF THE AMERICAN INSTITUTE OF CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTANTS
Alloy, Silverstein, Shapiro, Adams, Mulford, Cicalese, Wilson & Co., Cherry Hill, NJ, the 20th largest accounting firm with offices in the Philadelphia area, is pleased to announce that Marvin D. Alloy, CPA, a Cheltenham, PA resident and founder of the firm, was recently named an honorary member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
Mr. Alloy, who co-founded the firm in 1959, is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Finance and Commerce, where he earned his B.S. in Economics.
Mr. Alloy has been appointed as an Arbitrator by the American Arbitration Association, and has also been selected by the Court as an Accounting Master in connection with matters involving litigation. In a financial, budgetary, and economic capacity, he has served as an advisor to the boards of directors of local corporations and charitable organizations.
The honorary member certificate is given to CPAs who have been members of the AICPA for 40 years. The AICPA is the national professional association of CPAs with more than 330,000 members in public practice, business and industry, government and education.
